Yeah, typically. As long as the design remains identical, you can add some extra shirt styles like hoodies or bro tanks to get to your desired price break.

Yeah, but it’s not a good idea to plan that way. If we can save you from making this one mistake, we’ve done our part.

Some youth leaders drop an order for the exact number of shirts they think they need. Period. Trouble is they aren’t thinking about those extra students or parents who sign up (or show up) at the last minute. That’s when we get a call from them freaking out saying, “I gotta get 6 more shirts!” This little oops leads to big expenses.

It costs us about $100.00 in labor to set up the screen printing press for each order. That’s not a big dealio when printing 150 shirts. That’s only about 75¢ set up cost per shirt. BUT when you’re printing just 6 shirts, it costs you over $16.00 per shirt! So your cool $6.00 shirt skyrocketed to $22.00!

So what do we recommend? Throw an extra few shirts into your original order to be ready for whatever emergency comes your way.

Glow ink comes with an extra charge because it requires a second coat to make it glow super bright.

I guess if you want to, but it looks awful. Prints over lumpy dumpy zippers and seams ALWAYS come out clumpy and weird. Our machines make your designs look groovy on a flat surface. Surfaces with uneven changes cause ink to clump up and thin out in places where you don’t want them to.

The costliest part of t-shirt printing is the set up. Your design goes through a complex process from film, to screen, to print, with each color needing its own film and screen. This is also why each new order is priced separately. So ordering less than 12 shirts results in excessive prices. Your $10 shirt made by itself can cost $50 or more.

Chin up! 12 shirts isn’t that many. Your prices go down the more you order and you’re half way there already.

I hate to say it, but there’s a little math involved. But don’t you fret. There’s an ancient secret of T-Shirt ordering mystery that’s been passed down for generations.

That depends on a couple things (number of colors, shirt styles, number of shirts, etc.) But you can find pretty straightforward prices by finding a design template that looks something like what you want. From there you can customize stuff like shirt color, style, and brand to see how your costs are affected.

Good news is we never charge for artwork or set up! So that means you have free reign to get creative with your shirts. If price is a big issue for you, tell us. We can usually recommend some steps and corners to cut that will get you right where you want to be.
