This is the “pure” shirt. One of our trusting clients, Tim Coop at FBC Whitney, called and proposed this idea. He wanted a shirt that was printed on the inside that bled through to the outside. He wanted the word “pure” printed “right reading” on the inside so that it would read “mirror” when the students wore the shirts. His idea was that when the students wore the shirts and looked “in” the mirror they would see the word “right” in their view.

Truthfully, I always wanted to try this and just never had time to experiment. Don’t worry … we told him it would be an experiment and we would make it like he wanted. We love a challenge and we love to produce stuff that others can’t or won’t try. We did use the discharge technique with a twist … which we won’t reveal. Discharge is the process of printing with an ink that basically takes the dye from the shirt and reveals the original shirt color prior to dyeing the shirt. This was a purple shirt and we discharged it with a white tint … and then added some stuff to make it spread out. Each shirt was different and discharged in a completely different way … giving the students a unique shirt and yet all the same. The shirt was a hit.

This is really what sets youthgrouptshirts apart … we really want to create Christian tshirts that your students want to wear … after the event. Granted we come up with some pretty weird designs … when we are “let loose” … some clients prefer their own designs … yeah, we can do that too.

We feel that we can put a shirt on your student’s back that they will feel confident in wearing to school and have the same feel as a “mall” shirt. Lot’s of folks like their own designs and we respect that … but if you want our honest opinion we will tell you … only if you ask.
